ZAGORI MOUNTAIN RUNNING

The mountain marathon (Zagori Mountain Running) has been held in Zagorochoria for the last five years on the last weekend of July. More than 1,500 athletes participate, while together with companions, families and spectators the number exceeds 5,000.
The long route of 80 km is essentially the round of Tymfi mountain and passes through dozens of villages and the most beautiful spots in Zagorochoria.
