"Ioannina" at the International Tourism Exhibition "Philoxenia"

Another opportunity for the presentation of the tourism product of the city of Ioannina was the International Tourism Exhibition "Philoxenia", held, as every year, in Thessaloniki.
The delegation of the municipality of Ioannina was hosted at the Epirus Region stand and, during its contacts with actors active in the domestic and international tourism market, they highlighted both the attractions, the gastronomy and the rich historical character of the region, as well as the offered alternatives experiences, which make it an ideal holiday destination throughout the year.
The head of the municipality's mission was the Deputy Mayor of Tourism Giorgos Lolis, who granted interviews to local media, while the head of the Tourism Department Eleni Basogianni and Emilios Neos also participated.
During the three days of the exhibition, the stand was visited, among others, by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Sofia Zacharaki, and the president of the Hellenic Tourism Organization, Angela Gerekou.
